1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to NajahStudy.in. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the NajahStudy.in mobile application (the “App”), website, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by NajahStudy.in (“NajahStudy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, registering, accessing, or using the App from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or any other distribution channel, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.
These Terms constitute an electronic record in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signature.
2. About the App
NajahStudy.in is an online learning platform that curates and provides access to educational content, including embedded third-party video lectures, study materials, and previous year question papers, for students preparing for the following competitive examinations:
- JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) — for engineering admissions.
- NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) — for medical admissions.
- NDA (National Defence Academy) — for defence services entry.
- LAW — for law entrance examinations such as CLAT and AILET.
The App is offered free of charge to all users. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App.
- If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, we encourage you to use the App with the knowledge and supervision of your parent or legal guardian.
- By registering for an account, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements above and that the information you provide is accurate.
- Use of the App is not permitted where prohibited by law.
4. User Accounts and Registration
- Account Creation: To access the App, you must register by providing accurate, current, and complete information, including your name, email address or mobile number, password, and target examination.
- Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
- One Account Per User: You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to anyone else.
- Accurate Information: You agree to keep your account information accurate and up to date. Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of your account.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
5. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, NajahStudy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a mobile device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use.
This license does not allow you to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense any part of the App or its content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
- Use the App or any of its content for commercial purposes, including resale, redistribution, or competing services.
- Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or any data-collection tools on the App.
6. Intellectual Property Rights and Content Ownership
6.1 NajahStudy’s Original Content
The App’s name, branding, logos, user interface, software code, designs, original written content, original solutions, original explanations, and the “NajahStudy.in” trademark are the exclusive property of NajahStudy and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Curated and Embedded Third-Party Content
NajahStudy is primarily a curator of publicly available educational content. A significant portion of the video lectures, tutorials, and educational material accessible through the App consists of embedded links to videos hosted on third-party platforms such as YouTube (operated by Google LLC), accessed through their official embed mechanisms and public APIs.
- All embedded videos and third-party content remain the exclusive property of their respective creators, owners, or licensors.
- NajahStudy does not host, store, copy, download, or claim ownership over any embedded third-party video content.
- Embedded videos are displayed in their original form via the official player provided by the hosting platform (e.g., YouTube), preserving all attribution, branding, and links to the original source.
- Your viewing of embedded content is governed by the terms of service and privacy policy of the platform hosting that content (for example, YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy).
- NajahStudy makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, legality, or quality of any third-party content embedded within the App.
6.3 Previous Year Question Papers
- The App provides access to previous year question papers for JEE, NEET, NDA, LAW, and related competitive examinations, along with practice solutions.
- Question papers reproduced in the App are sourced from publicly available materials released by the respective examination authorities, including the National Testing Agency (NTA), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Consortium of National Law Universities, and similar bodies.
- NajahStudy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NTA, UPSC, the Consortium of National Law Universities, or any other examination authority, coaching institute, or publisher.
- All examination names (such as “JEE”, “NEET”, “NDA”, “CLAT”, “AILET”) are used for descriptive and educational purposes only and remain the trademarks or property of their respective owners.
- Solutions, explanations, and answer keys provided alongside the question papers are NajahStudy’s own original work or are clearly attributed to their original source. We do not knowingly reproduce solutions from copyrighted commercial publications without permission.
- Question papers are provided strictly for personal, non-commercial educational practice. You may not redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit the question papers or accompanying solutions.
- If you are a rights holder and believe that any content in the App infringes your copyright, please refer to Section 25 (Copyright Complaints and Takedown Notices).
7. Acceptable Use and User Conduct
You agree that you will not use the App to:
- Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or harassing activity.
- Cheat or attempt to cheat on any test, assessment, or evaluation conducted through the App.
- Impersonate any other person, account, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Upload, post, or transmit any content that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, hateful, racist, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, or networks, including by introducing viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App, other user accounts, or related systems.
- Download, screen-record, or extract embedded videos from the App through any means not officially supported by the hosting platform.
- Share, post, or distribute the App’s content, question papers, or solutions on social media, file-sharing sites, messaging groups, or any external platform for commercial purposes.
- Use the App to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or chain messages.
- Solicit personal information from other users, particularly minors.
Violation of any of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, removal of content, and legal action where appropriate.
8. User-Generated Content
The App may allow you to post questions, comments, reviews, or other content (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you:
- Represent that you own or have all necessary rights to the content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
- Grant NajahStudy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content within the App and in our marketing materials.
- Acknowledge that we may, but are not obligated to, monitor, edit, or remove User Content at our sole discretion.
- Understand that we are not responsible for any User Content posted by you or any other user.
9. Free Service
The App is provided free of charge. We do not currently charge any fees for access to the App or its educational content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature of it at any time, with or without prior notice, and we may display advertisements within the App provided they comply with App Store and Play Store policies.
10. Third-Party Content, Embeds, and Links
The App incorporates, embeds, and links to a substantial amount of third-party content, including but not limited to:
- Video lectures and tutorials embedded from YouTube using the YouTube IFrame API and YouTube’s official embed mechanisms.
- Educational resources, articles, and reference material linked to or sourced from publicly available websites and government portals.
- Question papers released to the public by examination authorities.
By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:
- NajahStudy is acting solely as a curator and aggregator of publicly available educational content. We do not host or own the embedded third-party content.
- All rights, titles, and interests in third-party content remain with the respective owners, creators, or licensors.
- Your access to and viewing of embedded third-party content is subject to the terms of service and privacy policies of the respective platforms, including but not limited to YouTube’s Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
- NajahStudy does not endorse, sponsor, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or quality of any third-party content.
- If a third-party platform makes embedded content unavailable (for example, if the original creator removes a video), the content may become inaccessible through the App, and NajahStudy shall not be liable for such unavailability.
- NajahStudy is not responsible for the content, advertisements, products, services, or practices of any third-party platform or website.
11. Educational Content Disclaimer
- All content provided in or through the App is for educational and informational purposes only. While we strive to curate quality material, we do not guarantee that the content is complete, current, accurate, or error-free.
- The App is a supplementary learning tool and is not a substitute for attendance at recognized educational institutions, official examination preparation, or professional academic guidance.
- We do not guarantee any particular result, score, rank, admission, or career outcome from using the App. Success in any examination depends on multiple factors, including individual effort, prior knowledge, and the policies of examination authorities.
- Examination patterns, syllabi, eligibility criteria, and policies are determined by the respective examination authorities (NTA, UPSC, Consortium of National Law Universities, etc.) and may change without notice. NajahStudy is not affiliated with these authorities and is not responsible for any changes in examination patterns or policies.
- Answer keys, solutions, and explanations provided in the App represent NajahStudy’s good-faith effort at accuracy but may contain errors. Users are advised to cross-verify with official sources.
12. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
13. Notifications and Communications
- By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional communications, including service updates, content alerts, and security notices.
- You may also receive push notifications about new content, class reminders, and announcements, which you can disable through your device settings or in-app preferences.
- You consent to receiving communications via email, SMS, push notification, and in-app messages.
14. Modifications to the App and Terms
- We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the App at any time, with or without notice.
- We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email at least 7 days prior to taking effect.
- Your continued use of the App after the revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
- Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
- Long periods of inactivity.
- Discontinuation of the Services.
You may terminate your account at any time by using the account-deletion option within the App or by contacting us at info@najahstudy.in. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease, but provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law shall survive.
16. Disclaimers
THE APP AND ALL CONTENT, SERVICES, AND MATERIALS, INCLUDING ALL EMBEDDED THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, QUESTION PAPERS, AND SOLUTIONS, ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. NAJAHSTUDY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.
Without limiting the foregoing, NajahStudy makes no warranty that:
- The App or any embedded content will meet your requirements or be available at any particular time or location.
- Any errors or defects in the App or content will be corrected.
- The App or any embedded third-party content is free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Any embedded video, question paper, or solution is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.
You use the App at your own risk.
17. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NAJAHSTUDY, ITS FOUNDER, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF GOODWILL, EXAM RESULTS, ADMISSION OUTCOMES, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
- Your use or inability to use the App.
- Reliance on any content, embedded video, question paper, or solution in the App.
- Any inaccuracy, error, or omission in any content.
- Any act or omission of a third-party content provider, including YouTube creators or platform operators.
- Removal, unavailability, or modification of any embedded third-party content.
- Any examination outcome, ranking, or admission result, whether favorable or unfavorable.
Since the App is provided free of charge, no monetary damages may be claimed by users in respect of the use of the App. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed INR 1,000.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NajahStudy, its founder, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use or misuse of the App.
- Your violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy.
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity, including intellectual property rights.
- Any User Content you submit.
- Your unauthorized downloading, recording, redistribution, or commercial use of any content (including embedded third-party content, question papers, or solutions) accessed through the App.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the dispute resolution clause below, the courts at Bangalore (Bengaluru), Karnataka, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the App.
20. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith negotiation by contacting our Grievance Officer.
If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of written notice, it shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by NajahStudy, in English, with the seat and venue at Bangalore (Bengaluru), India.
The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding on both parties.
21. App Store-Specific Terms
21.1 Apple App Store
If you accessed or downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:
- These Terms are concluded between you and NajahStudy only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
- NajahStudy, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product-liability claims and claims that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist-supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.
21.2 Google Play Store
If you accessed or downloaded the App from the Google Play Store, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Google Play Terms of Service. Your use of the App must comply with Google Play’s Developer Distribution Agreement and Developer Program Policies.

23. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NajahStudy.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely without your consent.
- Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, acts of government, internet outages, third-party platform outages, or labor disputes.
- Notices: Notices to you may be provided by email, in-app message, or posting on the App. Notices to us must be sent to the addresses listed in Section 22.
- Headings: Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
- Language: These Terms are drafted in English. In case of any translation, the English version shall prevail.
24. Acknowledgment
BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE NAJAHSTUDY.IN APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THE PRIVACY POLICY. YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE APP IS A CURATOR OF PUBLICLY AVAILABLE EDUCATIONAL CONTENT, THAT EMBEDDED THIRD-PARTY VIDEOS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, AND THAT NAJAHSTUDY IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY EXAMINATION AUTHORITY.
25. Copyright Complaints and Takedown Notices
NajahStudy respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the safe harbor provisions for intermediaries under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, read with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Copyright Act, 1957.
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that any content embedded, linked, or made available through the App infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our Grievance Officer at info@najahstudy.in containing the following:
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material in the App, with sufficient detail to enable us to locate it (e.g., specific URL, video title, section, or page).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Proof of ownership of the copyrighted work (such as registration certificate, publication record, or similar evidence).
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will acknowledge the complaint within 36 hours and remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content within 36 hours of confirmation, in accordance with applicable law. We may also notify the third-party platform hosting the original content where appropriate.
Submission of a false or misleading takedown notice may expose you to liability under applicable law.
